Off To Pokhara…

Off To Pokhara…

Well, it’s currently 6:00AM. Dad and I are going downstairs to get a quick bite to eat, then we are getting on a seven hour bus ride to Pokhara. As I mentioned a few posts back, Pokhara is a destination renowned for its mountains and lakes. In addition to some sightseeing, I am bringing along one of the prototypes to show a friend of Mr. Friedericks. We also hope to get a tour of some schools in Pokhara, to see how the education system can be improved (or, for instance, whether the computers are best suited for the Kathmandu curriculum). I am not sure about the availability of internet access in Pokhara; it could be excellent, it could be non existent. If there is an internet connection available, I’ll try and update my blog with the daily itinerary and some photos (especially if Pokhara lives up to the hype, scenery wise!). If not, we arrive back in Kathmandu valley on the 6th of November, which just so happens to be my birthday!

That’s all for now.

I was born in London, England. At the age of ten, I moved to Hong Kong, which opened up a whole new part of the world: Asia. Since then, I have enjoyed traveling to different locales around the world. Having graduated from High School, I am taking a gap year to work on a computer project in Nepal, and later a cultural immersion trip in Ghana. This is the blog I am using to keep the world notified.
